Creating Books about Desert Survivors in Mrs Griffith's Year 4/5 Class
After working in small groups to create a book 'About Me' using the Book Creator App, the students in Mrs Griffiths class created a book 'Desert Survivors' incorporating research they had conducted in Science class.
The students learned how to input information using typed text, digital ink, images, photos and voice recording.
Further, students learned how to conduct their research using Google Advanced Search.

The Learning Technology Journey Begins
In 2017 East Kenwick PS has partnered with Winthrop Australia to engage staff in ongoing professional development. The journey will enable a measured yet fluent synthesis of the pedagogy at East Kenwick with emerging learning technology. This blog will share the journey.
